california nclex passer 8 years w/o SSN

hi is there anyone who could give advice on what to do with my situation ? i took the nclex july 2006 and upto now waiting for my May 2007 priority date to become current . I didnt bother to do anything with my nclex result in california bec . before i got info that you will not retake the exam but you just need to reapply and submit your SSN then they will give you a license , i didnt know that there was an eight year limit. I hope anybody here could give an advice .

Hello. Is there any update on your processing? I have passed nclex 2010, and i don't have SSN. What to do, please advice.. thank you..

Hi, I passed NCLEX 2009 (California) but wasnt able to get SSN. Any ideas on how to have SSN? I'm residing here in the Philippines by the way.

You need to be a US Citizen, legal permanent resident ("green card") or have a visa with work rights in the US to get a SSN from the SSA. In general, only noncitizens with permission to work from the Department of Homeland Security can get a Social Security number.
