California and Distant Learning

Hello to everyone on allnurses

I am Shonda and I am in Southern California.

I have been trying to find programs that California would not have problems with as far as distant learning for nursing students.

I am curious and would like to hear from other nursing students in California.

Besides Excelsiors College are there any other distant education programs out there that a Californian can get into for nursing and be recognized by California?

Also to get the pre-reqs done what are some good distant learning schools to enroll in that can help with getting pre-res out of the way even with the labs.

Any information would be appreciated.

Mona Please let me know more. I am interested in doing my course online and if there is a way to do I would love to. If you know of anyone online here that is in Cali and taking the Nursing course DCN please put me in contact with them. I would love to get advice from them on what to do and how I should go about it.

I would love to get that info.

Also does anyone know of any good LVN programes that may be online or that is in the evening in Southern California?

The best thing to do would be to call DCN and ask them for information. They may even be able to help you with the Cali issues.
