I am a fireign BSN graduate and was denied to take nclex in California because according to BRN my cases on med surg and ob were not concurrent with the theory. How do I apply at another state? Do I need to take the board exam from the country where I got my degree then get cgfns certification to qualify for an nclex exam at another state? Please help...

Starting point would be looking at the state Board of Nursing that you plan on working and living in and seeing what their requirements are for International trained

Are you a US or dual citizen? From what country did you get your BSN from? There are some states that do require a valid and current local country nursing license. There are also some states also with the same concurrency requirements that CA is strictly enforcing since Nov. 2011.
