In the process of applying right now and thought I'd start the forum for this year's applicants to CBU. Good luck to everyone!

How did you do on the PAX? have you heard anything yet?
They won't be offering invitations to interviews until January and the decisions will be sent out toward the end of February, I believe. PAX was 160.

I'd love to hear stats if anyone is open to posting them. I'm planning on applying next year and wanted to see if I'm on the right track. Thanks!

Hi everyone, just wondering if anyone has heard about interviews. I know last year they heard back around this time!
I looked at the forum for last year, and they sent out the invites on Jan 27 (today), but I haven't gotten anything yet.

I received my interview invitation on Monday, I am so excited! Are you scheduled two weeks from now? I wish we had a little more time to prepare for interview questions, have you guys heard anything regarding the interviews? I understand it's a group interview but are you aware of what kind of questions they are going to ask? I spoke to a few students in their BSN program and they told me it's relatively easy, asking questions such as why do you want to be a nurse, conflict-resolution type questions, however the EL-MSN program might be a little more difficult.
Congratulations! This is very very exciting!
Hey everyone. I'm prepping for the next application cycle and wanted to see what everyone used as their equivalency for ch 112 from the prerequisite list. I have a year of 200 level Chem and 2 quarters of organic, but I'm not sure if that qualifies.
I did not take their chemistry and had more than a year of chemistry and another of ochem. They will ask a professor at CBU to see if the syllabi from the classes you took meet the requirements for their class. You just have to ask your academic advisor to look into it and see if you can get that pre-requirement taken off of your to-do list. They have to let you know that it is approved!
Hope this helps.
Usually the school has a list of equivalencies so you don't have to go through the process of comparing classes. Should be on their website!
