Cali NCLEX questions

Published

I am going to be taking the NCLEX soon and I am getting worried. Has anyone taken the Ca NCLEX with in the past few months and passed. What did you do to study, what books did you buy? what reviews did you take? what review or books had questions most like the NCLEX? Did you take the ATI? What where your scores on the books questions?

Thanks for any help

i am going to be taking the nclex soon and i am getting worried. has anyone taken the ca nclex with in the past few months and passed. what did you do to study, what books did you buy? i studied kaplan, and listened to the helen feuer cd's and did ncsbn (but found ncsbn's learning extention to be so unhelpful that i never finished and let my friend have it! that's how bad it was!)

i also bought the kaplan strategies book, that teaches how to take the test.

what reviews did you take? kaplan

i passed with 75qs

what review or books had questions most like the nclex? kaplan kaplan kaplan!!!!

I studied for 3 weeks doing NCSBN Learning extension and Saunder's Q & A and passed w/ 75 questions. Forget the lessons in NCSBN, but the random question bank was similar to the actual exam. Personally, I found Kaplan to be the most "unhelpful" of the reviews. You can learn general NCLEX strategies from any book not just Kaplan.

delete pls..i already got d ans. heheh

You asked this question last night, please do not keep posting the same question in different threads as per TOS but check on the ones you do post here is the link https://allnurses.com/forums/f197/question-about-california-nclex-265121.html

I took and passed the nclex in CA with 75 questions. (last September) I felt it was an easy test. The ATI was much more difficult and not related. I self studied using the NCLEX made incredibly easy. That text seemed very relevant. The best advise someone could have given to me would have been "Don't sweat it, the test is easy." In fact, I felt LVN boards were much more difficult.

Good luck!
