You will have to endorse your CA RN license to TN.

(click on RN Endorsement Instructions & Application).
If you have any questions, I would contact the TN BON for more information.

So could you keep both licenses active? One in CA and one in TN without any problems, just in the case you wanted to come back to Cali? Good luck!

I passed the nursing board exam in CA. I want ot transfer my license to TN, but the TN board needs my copy of Certificate from Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing School (CGFNS) or School transcript because I graduated my nursing degree from my country. The problem is, I didn't have CGFNS before I took the NCLEX-RN exam because CA doesn't need it so I want to give them my School transcript. Could you tell me what is a School transcript and how I can get it ?

I passed the NCLEX california in 2009 and its about to expire this Nov 2012. I plan to endorse it to TENNESSEE. School transcript means the Transcript of REcords right?
Because in California, i dd not get to pass any CGFNS while in TN one is required prior to NCLEX.
pls reply for those who know about this. Thanks.
