Hi Future Nurses, my name is Trae and I created this post as an outlet for us that applied or plan on applying to the Spring 2025 Nursing Program at Calhoun Community College. Let's chat, keep each other occupied, and pass the time until those acceptance letters drop, and then we can continue to motivate and help each other in class, at clinical, study groups, etc...

I am so excited and somewhat nervous at the same time ( but I know my anxiety will kick in as it gets closer to the time for letter send outs LOL). 

If there are any current nursing students that can give us pointers on how to prepare for our first term, what to start studying to get ahead, and things in that nature...Please do reply and fill us in. Thanks!

Hey my name is Nevaeh and I applied for the Spring 2025 semester. I'm very nervous letters go out this week. Hoe have you been passing time ?

Hey Nevaeh,

 I was starting to think I was the only one who applied LOL, I could not find another discussion board anywhere.

But anywho, I work part time and I'm finishing up my pre req classes, so that's how I been passing my time...I'm a little nervous but more so excited because it's finally here...the suspense is driving me crazy though...how many points did you end up having??

@nevaeh williams I had 43 points...I went to the info session and they said that you are pretty much good if you have 35 points or more so hopefully that's true this go round too...

What day do you think will find out last year I applied and got my denial letter on the 2nd of October but that was only because the 2nd was on a Monday. I have a good feeling that they'll come today. Either way let me know when you find out !
