Hey Rachel! I applied to Calhoun's spring nursing program as well. I am so nervous! I heard it was harder to get into the Spring program rather than the Fall program. Have you heard that?
I can see that since they only take 112 students for the spring, so significantly less than what they accept for the Fall. Do you know how many points you’re applying with?
I am applying with 36 points. I have talked to a girl I know that applied last year for the Spring semester and she got in with 37 points. How many points are you applying with?
you are going to get in girl!! i am absolutely confident you will. i am applying with 31! i didn’t do so hot on my ACT. i hope we get to start together!

I’m applying for Mobility (almost 15 years after graduating as an LPN) so our points are slightly different. We had to take a dosage calculation exam and make at least a 90. But it was really easy, so I assume everyone got that ten points. For us it will just come down to ACT and the points for those four classes.
My ACT is good, so I’m hoping that carries me. If not, oh well. Might be God saying it’s time to change direction.
yeah, i mean for us, all of our points come from the ACT and the four classes (eng, mth, a&p 1,2), too. at least you have that ACT on your side! i unfortunately, do not. if i don’t get it (again) i should probably consider retaking it lol
Awh. I hope we all get in!! If I do not get in this time I am going to re-take the ACT. I have good grades but my ACT score is not that great. I wish us all the best of luck!
girl, same!! i did terrible on my ACT, but i have no doubt you will get in. if you wanna chat more, off of here, i can give you my number!!

@NurseNugget I also applied for the RN bridge program. Also got the 10 points for the calculation test, so mine is down to ACT and grades also. My grades are all A's so I'm hoping my ACT (23) is high enough. I never took it in high school, so taking it for the first time at 39 was a little daunting. There were about 20-25 people in my testing session I believe, so if that held true for all four test dates, there would be about 100 applicants. ???
Anymore bridge applicants out there?
Do you know how many points total you are applying with? Is it the same as first time nursing students, up to 58? Good luck regardless, I wish we could all get in!!
I believe points are the same 20-58. My score that I figured up from the score sheet is 48-49, depending on how they calculate the gpa. ?
