I choose Pratt as my home college. I actually signed up in 2011 I just never got around to registering for classes. I wanted to register for Fundamentals of Chem after A&P but I see there is a pre req for that at Pratt maybe Ill sign up for Colby as well. Im having a hard time finding their course catalog to see course descriptions though.
Thank you again.

It's just my two cents, but I would advise not to take courses through CalCampus. A while back I was considering CalCampus since I was working at a hospital, on call some nights, weekends, and of course working during the day, so I just didn't know if I could register at a brick and mortar school. Even though it was difficult to hear the truth, I still called my University to ask if they'd accept transfer credits from CalCampus. I was hoping for the best, but they responded within a day with a definite "NO." They said this institution is accredited by a high school accrediting body or a vocational accrediting body, and it is not accredited at the college level.
I had to figure out another way. I had to live very poorly - scale back my hours - and take my nursing career more seriously than my present day situation.
It would concern me that when you are ready to advance your education or even move on to get a BSN, MSN, or even PhD, that you would be held back just because of a mistake. Maybe there are some colleges that have accepted CalCampus - but my University does not. I'm interested to hear if anyone has had problems transferring CalCampus credits to their nursing program.
P.S. Nursing school is already competitive, I think a school would more likely accept a person who went to a familiar University or even a valid community college - than to consider an unknown, unaccredited institution.

Thanks Bookbunny,
I took Biochem at CALCampus, it was a total waste of time and money. I was only able to transfer the class to one private school which gave the option of taking it there, every other JC or University I tried to transfer to denied it. I honestly did not do enough research. Also the class has no book just power point slides, test and exams can be done and redone if you don't do well. it was just overall one of the worst online class experience I've had.
Stay away from CalCampus

Did anyone take Microbiology lab at CALCampus? How hard is the class on a scale of 1-10? Does it take the full 12 weeks? Do you recommend?
