  1. I choose Pratt as my home college. I actually signed up in 2011 I just never got around to registering for classes. I wanted to register for Fundamentals of Chem after A&P but I see there is a pre req for that at Pratt maybe Ill sign up for Colby as well. Im having a hard time finding their course catalog to see course descriptions though. Thank you again.
  2. lvnrnmd2be , woodsyny, Thank you very much! Ill be taking my prereqs here. These schools are way cheaper than the CC's here oddly. Im working on my bachelors via distance learning at Western Governors University for Health Informatics and it is very intensive. My A&P there even had an at home lab so Im sure ill be able to do these classes. Thanks so much for the help **forgot to add. I want to sign up for session 2 Micro. Is the payment due at registration and are we allowed to set up a payment plan?
  3. Hi Lvnrnmd2be, I see that you have take courses at EduKan I was going to PM you but I do not have the ability to because I do not have enough posts. If you have taken Micro with Edukan can you please explain the format to me? I see very old post that say a proctored lab experience is required but Im not sure if that is the case anymore. I would really like to complete this all at home. Thank you for you help.
  4. thanks Amy! i actually did get a call back from them but couldn't work the hours because of college! but now my schedule is much more flexible! I wish they would give me a call back now. But I did check the website and see that they arent hiring anymore. Yes the economy is crap!!! Hope things look up soon.

  6. hello everyone. just need a little help. i've been certified as a nursing assistant since september 2007 and have been applying to numerous jobs all over the creation. from mercy all the way to saint chris' and nursing homes in between. i have used the internet and phone book as my resources applying and calling almost everyday since 2007. i feel exhausted and as if there is no hope. from all the stories i thought it would be easy to find a cna job. however it seems as is i was wrong. so with that said i was wondering would any of you ladies and gents know of any places that would possibly consider hiring a not so fresh out of training cna grad????? its been over a year now. what a waste 1,700 dollars i payed to red cross they did not have any job placement at all!
