Is there anyone in the CSUEB nursing program? If so, how is it? Are the instructors supportive? What is the average GPA for acceptance? I am appying this coming fall for 2011. Thanks in advance!

A majority of the staff on the program are USF alumni. Exceptional program within the bay area and even of Northern California. If I dont get accepted for USF 2010, then I will be applying for CSUEB Fall 2011 as well.
Good luck!
Let's keep each other posted..

I'm in my 1st year at CSUEB and so far the instructors have been great. They are passionate about nursing and seem to care about the students and want us to succeed. I'm happy with the program and the quality of the staff so far. That being said, the program can be intense at times...but that's a good thing. (oh, and my GPA was 3.7, TEAS was 90)

^did you have work experience too or 2nd language?
Thanks for the info. I :redbeathe CSUEB. I am currently in their Speech Pathology major which is my plan #2 if I do not get in the nursing program.
KR3W - I did not have any of the supplemental criteria...just decent grades.
Do you the lowest GPA/Teas they accepted?
I don't know that information. However, from talking with a few other classmates, their GPA/TEAS results were similar to mine.

Does anyone know about the clinicals at CSUEB. Which hospitals participate in the program? What is your experience about the whole program in general?
