CABLE/SATELLITE TV provider

Published

I graduate from nursing school and move to Detroit in May 08'. I hardly know anything about the Detroit area!! What is the best cable/satellite Tv and internet-DSL provider? How much is the average cost?

How is the Roseville area?

Ferndale and Royal Oak seem to be coming up a lot as great places to live. Does this mean this are the only areas where there is a good amount of great stores, entertainment places and young people living in the area?

I'm just saying those are personally the only two places I would live (I have previously lived in Ferndale and have chosen to move to Royal Oak but they're right next to each other anyway) but again those are my choices because I like towns with downtowns. I like being able to walk to a theater with indie flicks and great specialty shops versus going to the megaplex and the mall. They are a lot more trendy and fashionable than other cities in the area and do really cater to people in their 20s and 30s. Nice breweries and fun friendly folk. Just an opinion you'll have to come and check it out for yourself and make your own decisions about what's right for you when you get here. Of course I'm going to be biased and think the area I picked to live is the best-- otherwise I wouldn't have picked to live here I'd live somewhere else. :)
