When thinking about doing a Master's in Nursing for example an NP program, is it better to go to a famous school like University of Michigan or go to a school like Wayne State, Oakland university?

Thanks everyone for your response. To answer logique question, I am looking for an apartment that looks good from the outside as well as inside. I don't want to go above $900 a month. I don't have a family and I want to leave near shopping, restaurants. A pool, no pool doesn't matter.I would like a washer and dryer in the unit. Any ideas? Does anyone know anything about the Oaks at Hampton apartments? I looked up the village green apartments, they were really great but many of the 2 bedrooms apartments were not available.

Thanks for your responses. I am looking for apartments in the Oakland and Macomb county area. I will be working at Harper but I don't want to live around that area. Anything 20-30 minutes away from there would be really good. If you have any great apartment names please let me know. Thanks

I have to find an apartment in 2 weeks. I plan on going on apartment tours this Saturday, 04/26. BIG PROBLEM.....I am moving to Detroit and don't know of the apartments in the area. Please let me know if you know of any great apartment complexes. I am looking for a 2 bedroom place. If you are living in a great apartment complex in a nice area please share the info. Thanks

Ferndale and Royal Oak seem to be coming up a lot as great places to live. Does this mean this are the only areas where there is a good amount of great stores, entertainment places and young people living in the area?

I graduate from nursing school and move to Detroit in May 08'. I hardly know anything about the Detroit area!! What is the best cable/satellite Tv and internet-DSL provider? How much is the average cost? How is the Roseville area?

Is there anyone who is graduating from nursing school in may 08' and already have had interviews or offered jobs? How long did it take to get a response from the hospitals? What hospitals did you apply to? What work experience did you have? I need to know if I need a plan B!!!!! Thanks for your response.

Hi, I am a nursing student getting my BSN in Missouri. I plan on moving to Detroit after graduation in May 08'. I am worried. I applied for jobs at hospitals in Detroit almost 13 days ago and no one has called me back. Many of my classmates already have jobs set up here in Missouri. Does anyone know how long I should wait to receive a call from hospitals for an interview? Is the job application process different and takes longer in Detroit?
