Hello all :)
I graduated Dec 2010 from an ADN program and have been licensed since Feb I have applied for a trillion jobs out here in California, but no luck yet (shocker ). My family moved to El Paso, TX last year and now that I'm done with school, I'm thinking of heading out there, too. I have been looking into getting my license endorsed in Texas and have looked through their Board of Nursing website for the requirements and application process. I'm pretty sure I need to have a Texas license before applying out there, so my question is, once I'm endorsed in Texas, my California license is still good, right? So if I get a job offer here in California (wishful thinking ) I am still able to accept it even though I'm also endorsed in Texas?
Thanks! :heartbeat

Yes, you can hold licenses in as many states as you're willing to meet the requirements and pay the fees.

Hi Samstra,
You can be licensed in both states and remember to renew it every year. I originally got my license in CA and got it endorsed to TX. While I'm working in TX and holding a TX license, my CA license is still active. Good luck with your job search!
Ok great, thanks for your answers!

I moved from Cali to TX, and i was just a lvn and trying to be a RN, I think you are still eligible to take the test to get your license.
