I was recently placed on probation early this year and my RN position is pending approval. Per my probation officer, it will take up to 3 weeks or more. It's almost 3 months and she still states "it will take 3 weeks or more". It's frustrating because I feel like they lost my paperwork or something. Does anyone know how long it typically take for the BRN to approve RN position? I live in CA. Thank you
go to as many Nurse Support groups as possible and both the nurses and the Support Group leader will tell you all of the current hospitals hiring probationary RNs
I promise you there are many facilities that will hire! There is a nationwide shortage of RNs and this shortage will continue to worsen over the years. We are in high demand. Best of luck.

I had strangers help me in life when I was going through my darkest times. Now I help them. Life is circular. We all help each other and will all need help at different times. I can never adequately return the favor of all the kindness and support I received from strangers when I was going through this (and dealing w/ some other tough life stuff) but I'm always willing to provide as much support as possible.
