CA lic endorsement to ND

U.S.A. North Dakota

Published

Hi

I am looking into moving to a more friendly new grad job market state. How is the process to endorsed CA lic ?

Is it long? Can you apply without a lic? How is the standard of living vs salary (rent prices)? and if anybody knows about if ND is Homeschooling and Special needs friendly?

Thanks for your kind info

It took less than a week for my temporary license to be posted last month. I came from the Sacramento region and have found the housing prices to be similar and wages to be much lower. I'm in Bismarck and have only been here a few days so far, but all seems very nice; the hospital, the town, the people, and the weather. The latter is the only one I expect to get ugly.

Thank you for the reply.

From what I have read, getting a call for an interview is fairly easy in ND, but how you would recommend to go about in securing an apt/house to rent? Once you get the job, where do you find a place to live? Is it easy? Do you need to pay one month and deposit like you do here in CA?

Thanks

Hello OldgradRN,

How was your transition from Sacramento to Bismark? I'm from Northern California and thinking about relocating to ND.
