CA BRN New Requirements For NCLEX RN international students

I had already registered online in Pearson Vue but I think I'm not yet eligible to take the test. Is there an expiration date for my registration at PV?

I received a letter from CA BON requesting for new requirements such as:

  1. SS number
  2. Local license in the Philippines
  3. Copy of ur clinical rotation schedule for your cases: Assisted/Actual deliveries, cord dressing, and major/minor surgeries
  4. A complete school curriculum hundred pages or more sent directly from ur nursing school to the board. (the board doesn't accept the condensed version of the curriculum
  5. A one-page curriculum outline and academic calendar.

Fortunately, I had the first 2 requirements but I am worried that the last 3 will take time to be accomplished.

I am wondering if it's just me who have this requirement. Most of NCLEX passers I know weren't required on those listed above. It's really hard to focus on review while your thinking of this :uhoh3:

Just submitted online last nov6. Then board mailed me nov 10 asking for additional reqs. How about u?? I just requested my school to provide the additionals, they haven't mailed it yet... u?

hi please keep me updated too. I am also planning to apply in California BON. But what I have read from the forum it seemed the BON-CA now has strict rules compared before.

When are you planning to reapply? are you going to reapply thru their website or submit the paper works?

Hi Guys,

I am just new to this thread and I want to ask those experts on how to reapply for NCLEX exam in CA. I took the exam last 2008 and i failed. Right now am here in Richmond,CA with SSN, am planning to retake NCLEX. Should i apply all over again or just the reapply since I already took the exam. I have read the comments having a problems with their duties.

Pls advise.

Hi i am a 2007 graduate 🙄 when did we have our ob cases again was it ncm 101 and ms cases ncm 102?

I just submitted my application to CaBON my school submitted the cases. Still waiting for reply. Just wondering if my cases are fine. Does anyone know if we taken our ob theory with ncm 101 and ms theory with ncm 102? Thanks its been so long since i graduated so i don't remember. Hehe just hoping my cases are concurrent
