Does anybody here know if the CA-BRN would allow us to extend the deadline of our Med-Surg and OB deficient courses? Please share. Thanks much.

I'm also wondering about it. Hmmm. Let us see if anybody knows this. Or you can e-mail your international analyst. I haven't tried but you might try, or call the Board too.
Please comment here if you know something Red Reddington. Thanks.

Guys, I mentioned this before here and unless the CA BRN has changed their position on this matter from the past few months, CA BRN does not plan to grant any extension beyond the initial extension of the 3rd anniversary application date. This was noted to me by a couple of others who tried.
With the recent findings and jailing of several PH applicants in CA for submitting falsified paperwork, I'm sure the CA BRN has now been on full alert on any and all applicants and applications coming in from the PH and it will be easier on the limited CA BRN staff members to look at fresh documents rather than picking up from previous paperwork.
But you guys should still go ahead and see if you can get an extension, if it's granted, great, if not, start the re-application process ASAP or immediately find and FINISH up the deficient courses with proof of completion certificate or transcripts.
Don't blame the hard workers at the CA BRN, look at your fellow greedy and selfish previous so-called PH "nurses" who scammed their way to get licensed by any means possible and in bed with the Devil to work as a "nurse" (whom I refer to cheaters and low-lifes and do NOT in my eyes ever deserved to be called a "nurse", I don't care if they are the best "nurse", a DON, nurse manager, a sister, a auntie, a uncle, a brother or whatever, they are a "NO BODY" to me).
Hi @steppybay. Somebody told me that we can extend our 3-year expiration as long as you ask for it a month before the expiration date. I don't know if we need to pay or not. But I'd like to clarify this from the BRN. You're right, those PH RNs who are in jail right now deserve to be sentenced. That's karma.
Yes, again, I don't know the particulars from those that mentioned to me, the CA BRN did not give the extension to them. However, it might have been as you said to ask for it a month before the expiration date, but to me, with the backlog of the CA BRN, it seems to me maybe they requested for the extension but by the time, the CA BRN actually looked at their request, it was too late.
No one knows for sure, but really, the final decision comes from the CA BRN alone and nothing else matters and it could be a case-by-case approval or declination.
Everyone should simply write (or e-mail) their evaluator and get their own answers but I think it's better to make that request before the 30th day prior to the expiration. Good luck to all!!
@steppybay. Perhaps, it's a case to case approval. I contacted a friend. She e-mailed her evaluator. She even cropped the e-mail message to send it to me. I wish I could post it here, but I'd refrain from doing it to prevent problems. Anyhow, the BRN evaluator said that "yes, we can grant you an extension." Furthermore, he stated that my friend should wait at least a month before the current expiration date. My friend will also update me about the extension cuz she'll be going to do that early next year.
Woah!!! Thanks for the replies guys. I hope I can get an extension next year.
@RedReddington: Please update us about your friend's request for an extension. Thanks.
I got a response from my analyst saying that he will give me an extension but I will have to ask this 30 days prior to my current expiration date. This is gonna be next year. In God's will.
