  1. My LVN application timeline: April 28 - Sent the application (everything: yellow form, application forms, school records, etc) May 11 - BVNPT cashed out my check July 1 - Received the eligibility letter Now, I'm still reviewing, cuz I'm not ready yet to take the exam. Maybe next month. Hehe.
  2. Alright. Thank you TheAverageMan.
  3. @TheAverageMan: I just received my yellow form. I need help in filling up the part where it says number of hours worked for the hospital. How did you answer it? Thanks.
  4. I also e-mailed them last night about the Declaration of Nursing Education form. I got a message this morning, "We will mail you the form today." Their response is awesome! So basically, I will send my application forms, fees, sealed envelope and everything all together because I will fill up the yellow form as soon as I receive it. I hope this makes the application process faster.
  5. @nursefromcali. Basically, I can submit my BSN diploma even if I don't have the HS diploma?
  6. I got a response from my analyst saying that he will give me an extension but I will have to ask this 30 days prior to my current expiration date. This is gonna be next year. In God's will.
  7. @steppybay. Perhaps, it's a case to case approval. I contacted a friend. She e-mailed her evaluator. She even cropped the e-mail message to send it to me. I wish I could post it here, but I'd refrain from doing it to prevent problems. Anyhow, the BRN evaluator said that "yes, we can grant you an extension." Furthermore, he stated that my friend should wait at least a month before the current expiration date. My friend will also update me about the extension cuz she'll be going to do that early next year.
  8. Hi @steppybay. Somebody told me that we can extend our 3-year expiration as long as you ask for it a month before the expiration date. I don't know if we need to pay or not. But I'd like to clarify this from the BRN. You're right, those PH RNs who are in jail right now deserve to be sentenced. That's karma.
  9. Really? The whole program? Damn, that's stressful to accept. Well, most of us are required to take MedSurg and OB. I'm sorry to know that from you. If I were in your place, I don't really know what to decide. I hope you can get into the program as soon as possible.
  10. We have the same struggle with thousands of IENs too. Some applied for NCLEX-PN, some are still applying for it. I don't know much schools around your area cuz I live in NorCal. But, all you have to do is to contact each school around your area. Google them. Each school has different process to enter. Some schools are on waitlist and some don't reallie offer a program for us.
  11. I also have an additional question. Do I really need to submit my HS diploma? Is my TOR enough that I already graduated HS?
  12. Hello. I'm applying for NCLEX-PN here in Cali Method 3. I just want to ask a few questions. First, do I need to fill up the Record of Nursing Experience? I don't have any experience yet. Record of Nursing Program, TOR, RLE, Proof of Pharma hours: Are these the needed docs I need from my school? I just wanna be organized. Please help me. Thank you very much.
  13. You better come to Cali first. Apply SSN in any Social Security office. They'll give you a print out if you ask it for your job or you can wait 5 days in mail to receive your SS card from the day you applied.
  14. I'm also wondering about it. Hmmm. Let us see if anybody knows this. Or you can e-mail your international analyst. I haven't tried but you might try, or call the Board too.
  15. Hi guys. I am a type of person who is kind and understanding. So here we go. I know some of those who were denied by CA-BRN to take NCLEX applied for BVNPT to become LVNs. I know some of you are working as LVNs and few had already gotten their deficient courses complete. But I just wanna share this. I am not into the program yet. I am just conditionally-accepted, but not sure of getting in due to the space availability. But, I just wanna encourage you to TRY this school if you'll have the chance or time. If you're living around NorCal, this may be advantageous for you. Google Modesto Junior College. Go to their website. Click Academics, click Academic Divisions. Click ADN. Scroll down, look for Foreign Graduate Policy. Click it. You'll see the information there if you still want to complete Med-Surg and OB, and even other deficient courses. Why am I sharing this? Even though I'm still conditionally-accepted, I know some don't even get into my position as they might be frustrated. I am waiting for the formal letter to enroll the courses. Yes, you can apply for BVNPT, pass the NCLEX-PN, and work as LVN. But, is that really what you want? Perhaps, YES, for now because of financial need, right? No offense for that cuz we all need also to find some alternatives. But, are we just going to be pulled down by the frustration of the BRN's sandards? Hell no. Face it, we need to try to BEAT THE ODDS. At least. So click it now, and READ the instructions. This school is very nice and is one of the best in the Central Valley. Their lab instructors are very approachable. There is no harm in TRYING. You all know that. I will let you all know if I get into the courses. In God's will. Continue to pray, and please, be optimistic. God Bless us all.
