CA Breeze Application Dates

I submitted my application on 10-13-17. My school took a long time to submit my transcripts but finally my status changed from missing transcripts to open and my application date on the Breeze website updated to 2-14-18. Can anyone tell me what this date means? The CA BRN website says its reviewing applications submitted 12-1-17 thru 12-15-17. Does this mean my application has not even been reviewed yet? thanks!

If your application date was updated and now says "Initial RN License by Exam" that means your application was approved. I dont know why but nursing schools dont really understand the process.

You need to go register with the testing vendor Pearson Vue and pay the $200 application fee. Only after you pay the application fee will you receive your ATT and can register for your date. My application updated to a new date on 1/31 but I had already paid for the application and registered with Pearson just because I was over eager. I received my ATT that night.

Thanks for your reply futuremurse! My application does say "Initial RN License by Exam" now but I have not paid Pearson Vue. Do you know if the BRN will send me a letter via USPS at all? I did receive one from them in December stating that they had not received my transcripts. I will not have the funds to pay Pearson Vue for another 2 weeks. :(

I did receive a letter in the mail, but it took a LONG time. A bunch of classmates and I were comparing notes and we all got ATT's by email, but also a copy by mail. People were receiving ATTs almost immediately/1 day later via email right after paying the fee. I would recommend paying as soon as you have the funds
