Hi Everyone,
I was hoping someone might have some answers for me with this unique question. I will be applying to get licensed in CA right after nursing school and I am currently enrolled in an entry level masters nursing program. I took pre-reqs in my undergraduate degree at another university. For the physiology course I took animal physiology lecture (which mainly focused on mammalian physiology aka humans and we briefly touched on other animals), and human physiology lab. My nursing school accepted both of these classes as the physiology pre-req. My question is do you think the board of nursing in CA will accept this for the physiology requirement? I have the syllabus of both of these courses that specify we did human physiology even though the lecture component was titled "animal physio". Thanks so much for all your help everyone!

You need to call the board and ask them. Don’t allow people on here to give you false information that can delay the process. Only the people processing your application can answer that.
they are open for walk ins right now, which is preferable. So if you can go in person, take advantage of that
Hi @Michellestudentnurse thanks for your reply! I did reach out them this morning and they told me they don't know the answer to that question until I actually apply. Do you think I should reach out again and speak to someone else?

No, the people on the phone are not helpful. There were many times that they gave me incorrect information regarding my application. If you can go in person with your transcript and a course description, you will get better help
