Hi! I Graduated BS Nursing in the Philippines and a Registered too(both 2007) . I moved to California last year.I submitted my requirement for evaluation for both CA Board of Nursing and CA BVNPT last December 18,2015 but untill now there is no feedback. How many months does it usually take? I heard that others received there evaluation as early as 3 months.I don't want to call the BON and BVNPT because they said it will slow down the processing time. Please to anyone who have any idea regarding this matter kindly help me.Thank you and Godbless!
Because people have presented to the CABRN as being in country for courses and when their passports stamps were compared to their school schedule and the candidate from the Philippines was out of the country for several weeks when they alleged to be in class and clinical.Ultimately the passport vs school calendar & transcript discrepancy was the first step in proving fraudulent credentials in several cases. At least one posted here and couldn't understand why it was a big deal
If an applicant doesn't have a passport as they never left the country while in school there is no issue just explain to the assessor the truth
If my memory serves me right PI passport only good for 6 years vs the Great USA of 10 years.
Thank you for the explanation, it make sense now
