Second semester student, 4th week in. We're starting (started, I'm a wee bit behind!) drug cards in Pharm, and I'm faced with a dilemma. Our bookstore sells pre-made drug cards with everything you need. But, I could also make them myself. I can't decide which to do. Does anyone have any insight? Thanks in advance!

I'd say make them yourself. For me, anyway, I got a bit of extra OOMPH to my learning by going through the motions of writing things out.

As a recent student, I had to write out my own drug cards during my first two semesters. Sometimes I had to write out 30+ drug cards in one day, depending on the patient I was assigned. I was frantically scribbling just to get credit for finishing them, so I didn't retain one iota of information. I would have preferred to have been able to use pre-made cards because then I would have actually had time to study said cards. Just my opinion.
