Butte College RN Program

I have consecutively applied to the Butte College Nursing Program for the last 4 semesters (2 years!). When I first applied, I was aware of the waiting list but I was told that the 4th time applying would guarantee a spot in the program due to the increase in chances every semester. I just emailed the program directer who was very nice and helpful, but informed me that most students are getting in their 6th or 7th time applying! I would love to hear from others who are working toward the Butte RN program, how many times they have applied and so on...would love to hear some feedback on other's experiences!

It literally only says “Thank you. Your reapplication has been received.”

This is the e-mail I recieved : 

This e-mail is to advise you that your RN application has been reviewed and conditionally approved for inclusion in the September lottery.  Due to Covid 19 some students have had difficulty retreaving official transcripts at this time. We were able to use the unofficial transcripts to make the eligibility determination, but must have official transcripts on file no later than November 1, 2020 for continued eligibility. 

 

Lottery results should be out by the end of September. After the lottery is run, an e-mail will be sent to you advising you of the result.

 

If you do not receive an e-mail by October 10, 2020, you may call us to follow up.  PLEASE DO NOT CALL US BEFORE October 10  REGARDING LOTTERY OUTCOMES

 

 

If you did not get an e-mail like this then I would call and check on my application and say you did not get a confirmation or denial of being in the lottery. 

 

Also, Maybe for reapplication the process it different?

Yeah I think I got a longer email when I first applied saying I was approved to be in the lottery and then less formal ones after. Thanks for sharing. I sent a email to Michelle just in case.

Alright, who else has heard back? I got ANOTHER no....ugh, I really hope next time is it for me since it’ll be 7 applications, this is really wearing on me ?

7 times has to be it for you! If I start hearing people go 8 I’m going to freak out! Let’s increase the class size!

Had anyone do their reapplication yet? Every time I click on it it says I don’t have permission to access the form.

They say you have to log in with your student email but I’m not being prompted to log in anywhere?
