When times are hard, polish the apple. Put your best foot forward...professional attire.

Specializes in Med/Surg and ANCC RN-BC.

Professional is the best. Make sure you have extra resumes on hand as well as any recommendation letters, references, so on. Good Luck and let us know how it goes on Tuesday!

Ok, PROFESSIONAL it is... I went out shopping the whole day and found a light gray suit. It fits well and looks great. I bought the suit jacket as well as slack and skirt. I think I may have spent too much for this outfit = $230.00. OUch! I went to the mall and tried almost every store for a nice business suit but this was the fit and looks the best.

This is quite an investment but hoping to look well polished. I can choose from the slack or skirt to wear with the jacket.

Thanks for all the tips everyone! Have to prepare myself now. :)

I know it hurts, but it's always best to buy with an eye to good quality and good fit. In fact, if you have anything you don't quite like the set or length of, you might even be able to find a local seamstress who could help with some quick alterations to help polish the look (nothing major, of course, given your time frame). Trust me, I feel your pain; in a year and a half, I'll be shelling out for the same kind of stuff, and compared to me, a Wal-Mart floor employee looks rich! Good luck!! Let us know how everything works out. :) :yeah:

The more professional you can dress, the better.

Best of luck!
