Put in my application today for the Spring 2016 program, now the long wait to find out if I get in!! I will have all of my pre-requisites done by the end of this semester, except for the med class. I'm wondering if I should take that in the summer, will it help my chances of getting in? Thanks and good luck to everyone else who applied!!!
Go on webadvisor as if you were going to register for Nur 119. Click on a class and at the bottom will be a link for required text books.
I might take any NCLEX books that she has but most likely I will buy the current versions of the books we need. Most of the time the books only change small things in the wording or a picture, page numbers may differ. But I'd feel better knowing I had the same books as everyone else.

I work with a nurse who graduated from the program a year ago and she offered me her books. Being a new nursing student I want all new and latest edition books but maybe I will take a couple to look at and compare. She also said that she never bought the drug guide or medical dictionary, she just used apps. She also said psych and OB books just rent because once you finish the semester you'll never use them again unless that's the field you want to go into.
