Burlington County College Spring 2016

Put in my application today for the Spring 2016 program, now the long wait to find out if I get in!! I will have all of my pre-requisites done by the end of this semester, except for the med class. I'm wondering if I should take that in the summer, will it help my chances of getting in? Thanks and good luck to everyone else who applied!!!

Congrats Jramey87!!! I believe packets normally go out around the second week of November. But in the meantime you have to register and pay for the background check/urinalysis on the Adam safeguard website that is in your acceptance letter.

C_singh I think we have to register in person. Im going to try online tomorrow though, it wouldn't let me today even though the website says spring registration is open. I'm taking Nurs 103 during the spring intercession. I'm not aware of a fb page that has been started yet but it's a great idea!!

Did anyone find out for sure if we register in person? I know that online registration opens today and when I went on this morning to search for classes it seems like no one has registered for any of the nursing classes so I am assuming that we can't do it yet.

Also..anyone have thoughts on day clinicals?

I was thinking about doing day clinicals too... I am just not sure if that is my best option. I have 3 kids so I kind of feel like that would make it where I would actually get to spend some time with them on that day because I would be in school while they're in school. So much to think about lol.

C_singh I'm taking the 6-9pm class as well! I would love to take the day clinicals but I can't because of work. I feel like there is more opportunity to meet managers and make an impression and land a job from clinicals during the day.

I talk to the secretary in nursing today. She said that we cannot register until we received our nursing packets. They will be mailed out in the next few weeks.
