Burlington County College Spring 2010?

Published

Has anyone heard or does anyone know when we should hear about acceptance into Spring 2010? I have all pre-req's done, no reason I shouldn't get in, but I want to get that letter! I have a feeling it won't come until sometime in Sept, though.....

whew...I am relieved to know I am not the only one, thanks!

Did anyone receive anything from the nursing department yet?

I have not received anything yet. I'm thinking of calling admissions on Tuesday to make sure they received my response and check...I would not want to lose my spot due to the mail.

I have done everything else except my medical exam and CPR class (scheduled at the end of October). I am hoping to get the paperwork from the department so I can take it with me when I go for my physical and not have to make another appointment.

As soon as I get anything, I'll post.

My check has been cashed by the school, so I know that they received it. I also made an appt. for my physical at the end of the month and am hoping that the paperwork comes so that I can bring it with me. Where are you taking your cpr class at? The only place I know that offers it is at the Red Cross in Lumberton and it costs $70. I need to register but was waiting to see if the school was going to suggest where to take the course.

yes I am waiting to see if they suggest anywhere, too. I know you can sign up through Virtua and I believe it was $55. I am anxious to get more info from them-I assume there will be some sort of orientation before Spring semester starts?

I signed up for the Healthcare Provider CPR class at Robert Wood Johnson Center for Health and Wellness (in Hamilton, NJ). It's on 10/28 at 6pm. The have dates for other classes too. The class cost me $60 and I signed up online.

According to the information on BCC's nursing program requirements, we are to have CPR certification for professional rescuers. I don't think they care where you get certified as long as you have it before clinicals.

hi I did not get anything except a letter stating that they did not get my background check which i did but late (oops) I already have my cpr however the physical can we just go to our reg doc? and if we already have ppds will they accept those or do they want thier own? If anyone gets thier paper work before me let me know so details please :) Im sure mine will be late sisnce they recieved my backround check late

I just received a packet in the mail today with more info, physical exam form, etc. Now I feel like I have a lot to do and get in the next couple months! is anyone else going to sign up for Wed night clinicals?

I also got my packet today. Thanks for the advice on the cpr class through virtua. I signed up this morning for 11/10 and 11/11. They said there there are only 5 in the class incuding me. Did you sign up yet? I think that I am going to sign up for Thursday day clinical.

Hi Everyone,

I also got my packet today too. I am not sure which clinical I will sign up for (Wed. or Thurs. evening). I won't be able to sign up until the 9th because I will be on vacation. I guess my clinical day will depend on what is left when I sign up. All I am worried about right now is getting in to see my doctor to get the paperwork done. I have an appointment at the end of November but I think that is cutting it too close so I have a call in to see if I can get an earlier appointment.

Is anyone else a little overwhelmed right now? I guess I'm going to be feeling this way for the next 4 semesters.......

I also feel a little nervous. My appt. for my physical is in the first week of November. I may try to move it to next week. Also, there is a great buy on Amazon.com for the saunders nclex book 4th edition. It is only 24 and change. You have to spend 25 to get the free skipping. I just bought some bookmarks to make up the difference. The book is usually something like $52. I have read online that using this book along with the required reading helps with tests.
