Burlington County College BCC 2012 Spring Nursing Program

U.S.A. New Jersey

Published

Greetings,

I am currently enrolled at BCC full time and will be finishing the last of my prerequisites this summer. I have applied to the nursing program for Spring 2012 and I know not to expect information for quite some time. I have a 3.92 GPA and received a score of 71.3% on the TEAS V test.

Once I am accepted into the nursing program the only classes I have left to take are the following: BIO 155/156 (Micro, Lab), NUR 119, NUR 120, NUR 214, NUR 215, NUR 216. I have already taken the medication administration class successfully also.

I am looking for advice/answers from fellow students going through the process. I have a few questions/concerns.

  • Will completion of my final prerequisite class this Summer be finished in time for the acceptance process?
  • What is the schedule like? I know to be available from 4P-12A M-F for classes, but that seems vague.
  • Can you double up on any nursing classes during a semester? (Registration-wise)
  • Are any nursing classes available during intersessions or summer semesters?
  • Any other advice/comments :)

Thank you very much! :nurse:

I know i'm so anxious!!!!!

Praying 4 u 2!!

mailman came...no mail from bcc today :(

Nothing in my mail either

good luck guys!! have you known anyone whos been accepted that has 2 pre-reqs left to take? I'd probably be in that boat unless they take my quantative methods 4 credit stat class from rutgers but i've got to send them my transcript. If they don't i may try and take it this spring semester then i'd only have micro as a prereq..thanks guys and good luck i'm so nervous to be in your positions soon! haha

I am sorta in the same boat I need micro lab (I took a X) this summer and I am re-taking A&P II lab (got a D). The only thing I am praying is that since I am a county resident and I have over 65 non-nursing credits I will get accepted. If not I picked up my intent to enroll for Fall 2012 today, they are available now and can be mailed Nov 1st.
