I've applied already for Fall 2011. I am so anxious. I applied about a year and a half ago and got discouraged when I was waitlisted due to them not being able to locate my HS transcript. Since then I got my LPN from BCIT which I was hoping would help with my chances of getting in. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
Hopefully that works out for you. That stinks about the transcript issue. I feel like that happens to a lot of people in general. You would think it would have been solved if so many people have that problem.

I wonder if any of us are in the same classes? I've also been wait-listed at BCC, but have already been told I have very little (no) chance of getting into their program, because I don't live in Burlington County! I'm not even sure I'm going to bother sending in a letter of intent for the fall, especially since I've already been accepted to Stockton & Neumann.
I was going to apply elsewhere too, but the four year schools like Stockton and Drexel were just wayyy too expensive, and both Mercer and Atlantic Cape are too far of a drive for me. Some schools also ask that you sign a form saying you won't work, won't get married, etc while you are attending their school. The not working thing is just not an option for me (and I'm sure for most people in these times). I've registered for NUR103 (Medication Administration) for Summer I because I need the math refresher, and that way I can be a step ahead.
Stockton's tuition isn't that bad, especially compared to Drexel's which is about 30k per year! Also, you would graduate those programs with a BSN as opposed to just an associate's degree. Many employers now are requiring a bachelor's degree to get hired, and also a bachelor's will allow you to command more money starting out in the job market.
I've never heard of any places making you sign a form saying you agree not to work while in school, and asking you not to get married is just ridiculous.

I applied for Fall 2011. I'm done with all of my pre-req's (with good grades) and live in county so I'm hoping I'll get in...praying!!! I know we won't get letters for awhile but I check my mail while holding my breath everyday already!! ha! I understand why some others are looking into other schools but BCC is the best option for me for a few reasons so I'm really anxiously waiting, especially being I've taken all the classes needed already. Someone told me sometimes letters come out in February...anyone else hear that? Good luck to everyone wherever you attend!

JMCDERM3,
I applied to BCC's nursing program when I lived in county and moved out of county while I was waiting for acceptance. I received my acceptance letter and was so excited but when they realized that my new address was out of county they rescinded the offer of acceptance. I went and spoke to the dean and as an end result they told me they cannot accept out of county residents due to taxes or something like that. But when that door closed, a window opened and I got into Rutgers so what I'm saying is don't put your egg in one basket and good luck where ever you end up!
