The Nur 205 is offered in the Fall, as far as I know? I am on the part-time program, and nur 205 is only offered in the summer for the part-time program, but pretty sure it's available in the fall for full time. Not sure if they offer Theo online, but I think they do?

I am currently attending Neumann finishing up a few core classes before starting their nursing program in the summer of '12. I can't wait!

Congratulations Nurse Betty! I will also be starting this fall in the program and can't wait! I will have a few prereq's to finish so unfortunately I won't be able to take 205 until the summer of '12. I met with Sr. Jude and she explained all prereq's have to be completed before you can start with the core nursing courses/clinicals (at least that is the case for the part time program).

awesome job Ceema! I've been accepted to the part-time program at Neumann, and met with Sister Jude this past week to review a plan of action. I will be finishing up a few pre-req's at BCC this semester and take my last couple of pre-req's starting at Neumann in the fall! I'll be in Nursing 205 in the summer of 2012 and can't wait! jim

Stockton's tuition isn't that bad, especially compared to Drexel's which is about 30k per year! Also, you would graduate those programs with a BSN as opposed to just an associate's degree. Many employers now are requiring a bachelor's degree to get hired, and also a bachelor's will allow you to command more money starting out in the job market. I've never heard of any places making you sign a form saying you agree not to work while in school, and asking you not to get married is just ridiculous.

Hi Inzjean, How did you make out with Stockton? Did they accept your classes from other colleges? I've been accepted to their RN program and am hoping that my science classes taken at community college will satisfy the A&P I & II, Micro, and Nutrition requirements of their program. I wonder if any of us are in the same classes? I've also been wait-listed at BCC, but have already been told I have very little (no) chance of getting into their program, because I don't live in Burlington County! I'm not even sure I'm going to bother sending in a letter of intent for the fall, especially since I've already been accepted to Stockton & Neumann.

Hi Ceema, Thanks for getting back to me! Not to belabor the point, but the classes you took at a CC transferred over as 1 for 1 or were they accepted as "Gen-Ed" credits? I'm just a little paranoid about it because I've seen some schools just count the A&P I & II and Micro classes from a CC as Gen-Ed instead of fulfilling the A&P I & II and Micro requirements of their nursing programs. I've also been accepted to Stockton but am leaning towards Neumann if all things wind up being equal. Thanks! Jim

For those in or who have gone to Neumann, I just got word that I was accepted into the part-time program starting in Fall '11. Couple questions I had, if you have any idea... 1. I am transferring from a community college and will have completed all non-nursing clinical classes, will those science classes transfer over? 2. If you start in the part-time program, is it possible to move into the full-time program at some point? I'm really worried that I would have to take A&P I and II, Microbiology, & Nutrition again before I could start the core nursing classes which would set me back financially and time-wise much more then I would like to. I've seen the timeline for an incoming part-time student with no transfer classes is roughly 7 years and I can't afford for it to take that long, however if I am able to transfer over all of my pre-req's it should only take 2 1/2 years. Any info is greatly appreciated! Jim
