Bunker Hill Community College Nursing 2016

Anyone here applying for the Bunker Hill Nursing program for January 2016? Have you taken your TEAS yet? If not, where are you planning to take them? The department chair told me that the next time they are offering them at Bunker Hill is in October and the application cycle for January 2016 ends in September. Is that too late to take the TEAS?

I'm debating on taking it at another school so I get it out of the way and BHCC has my scores on time. How does Bunker Hill get the scores if we take it at another school? Anyone know the process?

Hello, that sounds like a done deal. Did your profile change with an advisor? My profile still shows AA Gen Con. I submitted my Teas V on October 26, the deadline.

My GPA is 3.4 and I have a 62 on the teas I did very bad . I'm convince I won't get in

Don't lose hope! I do believe the program is less competitive this year than it was a few years ago. We all seem to be somewhat confuse about the application process since some of the candidates profile have been "updated" before they took the Teas V. But I will definitely update you if I see any changes (cross fingers). Good luck!

My profile hasn't been updated. I have a 4.0 for the prereqs and a 91% on the Teas V.

Applied to day program here. Got an 85% on the TEAs but had a B- in Chem and C+ in English so I'm worried as well. Hopefully we get in

My profile has not been updated yet, however if you click on "My Educational Plan" - it should list the program you applied to. Mine says "AS.NRDAY Nursing Program Day Option" but no "anticipated graduation date".

Hello Wagtr,

I played around with my portal today and selected Nursing Day in my Program Eval then clicked on the catalog eval and in the top left corner it has the anticipated graduation date. But I am pretty sure it was always there, I never looked there because I assumed it was going to show up on the Program Eval screen right when I clicked on it. I then selected Nursing Evening just to see if it would stay the same and it did not, only Nursing Day has it.

I'm sure you'll have no problem getting accepted with your GPA and TEAS V overall score. I'm hoping we find out soon.

The same for me today, today I tried to register for a class and it says I'm not in the program

It might show up tomorrow. I read previous threads and their profiles changed the day after registration opened up. I'm only assuming, though. Fingers crossed!
