Someone said nurses get good pay-$25-30 an hour???? In the pharmaceutical world, where they employ lots of nurses I would say for a senior person $40-55 and up is more the norm.
Why so pharmacists and Physical Therapists command $75K right out of school--they used to make LESS than nurses.
My husband pays his is laborers at an aluminum extrusion plant $11 an hr & benes'...starting (we don't even require HS education or experience)! $17.00 for shop supervisors. (H.S education/2 yrs experience required).
Our local LPN's make about $11-16 an hour while RN's in this area make $16-25...(this nursing salary is what I consider peanuts).
