Hello I'm starting a post for those who are applying to the Lamar University nursing program in Beaumont, Tx for the Fall semester!
Hi im Desi,I have also applied for this upcoming fall. I drove all the way from Conroe to Beaumont the morning of the application due date to submit my application. *Crosses fingers* ... Are any of you guys transfer students having to take the two required nursing classes?
I have to take both Theories and Patho too Registration opens today and I have both classes are M-F classes your gonna drive there and back everyday? Im from Houston. Also have you guys gotten your blue cards?
Theories is fairly easy, but you have to can't put it off. Pathos is a lot of material. You have to keep up with the notes, and make sure you study right off the bat. My professor is amazing and very well organized, so it makes studying easier. Make sure you know the processes of the body and the material along with knowing the notes by heart. Knowing the process will benefit you more than memorizing especially after the first exam. I went to one SI session they have weekly, and it's great to keep you motivated and fresh on the notes. Just be diligent and you should pull an A in both pathos and theories!!
