Nursing Students SRNA

Published

Hello!

I'm considering applying to Bryan College of Health Sciences School of Nurse Anesthesia in Lincoln, NE this fall. I'm wondering if any alumni or current students can give any insight into the program and what the interview was like? Any information will be highly appreciated.

Thank you!

I will PM you. :)

I have an interview at Bryan in two weeks. Any advice from last year? Do you recommend the program? I have interviewed and been accepted at one other school, but want to make sure!! Thanks!

I really like Bryan! They offer a nice class size, tons of great clinical experience, and great professors. To where have you already been accepted? Interviews last year included a mix of clinical, situational, and behavioral questions. Ultimately, I would recommend

the program. What day and time do you interview?

I have been accepted to a school in a Florida that's 20 min from a family member's home. My interview in Lincoln is in the morning on Saturday, Oct 15.

I also had the opportunity to attend a program close to family. While it would have been nice, it really came down to which school would offer me the best opportunity. I moved to Lincoln from Utah with my wife and three children. I'm only in my first year, but I do not regret my decision. We have made friends and established plenty of support even without having family nearby. I'm not supposed to be to interviews until 11:30, but maybe I'll see you Saturday before you leave. Once you get to the school, there will be plenty of students hanging around with whom you can chat. Hopefully you'll get all the answers you need to make a final decision.

That is really good to hear. My dilemma is that I won't have to borrow anything for living expenses if I go to FL, which brings my debt burden down significantly. I am currently planning to attend interviews at Bryan, but the pro/con list is currently tipping towards FL.
