Brown Mackie Colleges in Indiana

Anyone attending the Brown Mackie Colleges new practical nurse programs in Indiana? What is the tuition rate (not listed on their website). Do they have proper accreditation in Indiana?

What is this? Is it an online nursing program?

No I don't think it is an online LPN program - I don't think Indiana will ever go for that idea. Their website doesn't say much. I emailed and was told they only answer in their zipcode. I live several hundred miles from their site - but am curious what they offer and the cost. Ivy Tech is nearly impossible to get into in all the regions I have applied to.

I attend a Brown Mackie in Ohio. All I can say is read the fine print. They change the rules monthly then if you repeat to many classes when it comes time for preceptor they tell you you can't graduate cause you have too many hours. Instead of telling these students earlier before they spent the time and money to be at the school they wait till they had there money and there was no other class for them to take. Read and re-read there catalog!!! Good luck!

No the ones who had to many hours had to leave school and start all over at another school if they still wanted nursing.

We have one is South Bend. I attended Ivy Tech (South Bend) so I am not that familiar with Brown Mackie. I do know that they are more expensive than Ivy Tech and as of this point are not accredited (scary), but they are working on it. It is NOT an online program. I guess their accreditation will depend on how many of their students pass the licensing exam.
