Broward College Summer 2021

This is for anyone applying for the upcoming semester thats planning to apply or just wants to talk.

@Liz Alvarez Hey Liz so I’ve thought about it. I deff don’t want to do an lpn program and 2020 has knocked all the sense out of me so I’m really not up for anymore test this year. Since the amount of people are random each year and we’ve both already completed everything and have a chance why not apply again and have a friend to go through it with? Also since the application date is Nov 1 we can try to be the first to apply ??‍♀️

Listen, I feel you and so deeply understand about the testing part. I am not test another nursing entrance exam again and the reason why I did it this year was because I quit my job due to do pandemic and started to open up My books once again but maaannn !  Though I had faith about being accepted but I kind of had a feeling that there was going a lot students applying.

I’ll say let’s go ahead and submit the application for the Summer. I wish it I want to say that will there be a lot of student applying into the Summer program .? Since everything is a lot harder because you have to finish in such a short amount of time ???
Let’s go ahead a submit the application and we’ll see but one thing for sure I am not going to Lpm school RN I feeL that I’m making decent money by just being an MA...

?

The entrance exams are a lot! I underestimated the HESI. So I’m not excited to make an attempt on any test right now plus I’m taking classes so I don’t want to stress myself out and focus on the wrong thing.

I don’t want to do an Lpn program either!! I work as a pharmacy tech now and I mainly became one so I could familiarize myself with medications because I was told it’s a weak point in the medical field.

I’m not really familiar with broward college but I’d say it’s 50/50. Let’s just cross our fingers and hope ????

Thank you. The first time I applied was the deadline so I wasn’t sure about the processing time.

Does anyone know the difference in length between LPN to RN and generic RN ?

Hey sorry for the late response but per the FAQ page “The Generic program
is five (5) semesters in length (2 years)
consisting of 22 academic months. The LPN-RN Transition Program is five (5) semesters in length, consisting of 17 academic months. The part-time generic program is 10 semesters in length.

Is anybody stressed about not getting accepted... ?
