Have been hearing that BC will be requiring math prerequisite and may be dropping Chemistry pre-req for nursing program for students starting Jan 2013. Please post any specific information you have received from the school. I have emailed them but have not heard back. The people on the phone are not exactly sure what's going to happen.

I turned my app in the first day it was allowed for this term. No points, never had any. Everyone at north told me there will be no points.The only time I heard of it was from this forum. I hope the school just sticks to one thing and tells us we are IN .:specs:

Changed to Application in Review today. And received points, too although none for HESI. What's going on?

I turned mine i on 9/11.. wonder if thats why mine hasnt changed yet.. and u dont get points for hesi.. just gpa..hosa..and broward resident

I wish mine would change... i dunno if they r going to use the points this term..but when they used to, points were awarded by gpa,hosa and broward residency.. the hesi was used as a tie breaker.. seeing that some of us have points and dont..im confused too.. im guessing they are reviewing them in the order they received them.. since i turned mine in during the last week it was due.. idk i will keep checking..did anyone else's change?

OMG my status changed... It says denied because of low GPA=/!!!! I only have 1 point for being a Broward resident. There aren't any GPA points or points for HOSA, and I was in HOSA! However there was this little disclaimer on the screen

" Program Notes: Please allow reasonable processing time for items to reflect changes.

This screen is for information purposes only, and is not intended to imply eligibility for program acceptance.

Please contact the Program application office if you have questions about the information on this screen."

Does that mean they still haven't calculated my GPA and my HOSA points and that I still haven't been denied for sure?! IDK what to think='(

My GPA is 3.24.... I hope they just haven't added all of my other stuff because if I don't get in that will suck!

I know it's not a perfect 4.0 but I don't think it's that bad...

Hopefully its just still in review phase.. i also have 3.2.. is that ur overall gpa or ur prereq gpa?
