OK, I am hearing horror stories of the BC nursing program at south campus. At this point....im willing to bite the bullet...im 31 years old and already have medical and life experience. Can't be worse than the jobs I've had for the last 10 years! Lol
Can anyone shed some light on their experiences? How is the math portion of the program? Are there any good math professors at the south campus for nursing? If so please provide some names. I am terrible at math
How are the classes? What makes the program so horrible as some students say? :/ if its just a matter of dedication and commitment... It can't be that bad right? But I'm hearing that the professors are terrible and do not actually teach the students and they fail their exams and have to drop the class.
Please anyone out there that can answer these questions....that would be great!
Thank you kindly!!

I can't answer specifically for South, but my boyfriend goes there. The math portion is great in all campuses. There's only one though, that I know of. I'll have to ask my bf and get back to you on the name.
That would be great if you could share some of his experiences so far. I keep hearing from friends of friends that the program is EXTREMELY DIFFICULT...I mean....what makes it so hard exactly? Maybe he can share that with you and you can share that with me? thanks so much! any input would be great as I am freaking out and reconsidering my choices. I want a school that will teach me and take me serious and not set me up for failure. :)
Hi, this is the boyfriend. Lol as far as math is concerned it's not that different anywhere and it's probably these least of our worries. The campus is difficult because the tests are made difficult as the questions are made to be a whole lot harder than they need to be. You can learn it until you're blue in the face but if you don't know how to read and understand the questions you're gonna have a hard time.
Thanks for the response! :) OK...I will try to start doing some practice questions now so this way in Aug 2015 I'm ready. Any recommendations on which professors I should consider? BTW thank you for sharing your experience.... Much appreciated :)

Everyone will have a different experience there, that is all. Do your research on other programs as well.
It's no problem at all. Glad to help a fellow nursing student! As you get closer to the dates I can help with professors. Idk if I'm allowed to mention specific names. I've been reprimanded by admin by doing so before. Just PM me as the days get closer. :)
I agree that everyone's experience will be different, but she was asking specific questions about BC. You basically just completely ignored her questions... :)
Thanks!! :)
I will stay in touch for sure as the time gets closer.
I don't like to "ignore" anyone so let me speak from my personal experience back in Fall 2012. I am pretty sure the program has made some changes for the better. I attended south campus. I passed everything except nursing process 1. Nursing style questions are like no other. I believe that instead of guiding students on how to answer nursing style questions they just throw it at them. It is a very self taught program and I think it has a lot to do with how affordable the program is.
