Broward College RN Fall '18 ALTERNATE pending seat.

Hello Everyone, I applied to the RN Program for Fall '18 at Broward College. I really hope I get accepted into the Nursing Program but I'm a bit worried. My status on the application says Alternate pending seat available. Anybody else got the same thing? Received Pre-Admissions Meeting day? I'm not really sure what are the possibilities on actually getting accepted. Do you think they will tell us the final decision in the meeting? I read on different blogs that they were told in the meeting.

Me too! :( my GPA is a 3.2. Whats yours?

Did you get the email for the ALTERNATE. It says my meeting is July 11th @ 9:00 am I believe.

Yes it is on that date n time. My GPS is a 3.18. Let's just pray and hope for the best

Yess I hope that we get it! I also heard that they can sometimes let us know in the meeting I really hope for that as well! What campus would you like to attend?

Hey everyone! @Liaa25, I saw that you're interested in attending South campus--me too! I am not an alternate, but I wanted to share that I realized there are various Pre-Admission sessions (Nichole said 3). And it looks like yours being on July 11th versus July 10th might give them a chance to see if some people don't show up to the July 10th meeting (or come late and aren't allowed in)--which could open up spots already? Those are just my speculations, but I thought I'd share so hopefully it's not so nerve-racking during the wait. I'm sure they'll also address the additional details at the meeting--it's great that alternates are able to meet as a group to ask more questions and not have to "just wait". Sending positive vibes for you all to get in! I know you've worked hard for it!
