Hello!
I'm a prospective nursing student for January 2020 at Broward college! I know I am super early but I am just overwhelmed with excitement! I took my HESI test yesterday, and to be honest I wasn't sure I would pass. I gave myself enough time to re-take it again in 30 days and then submit my application. Well.... I studied for 13 days straight and I passed!!! If you'd like some tips, I'd be happy to share. Just let me know. I submitted my application today, so fingers crossed. I know it will be a while but I am happy I finally made it this far. Hope to hear from any other applicants! ?

If there’s anyone that’s looking for a place to get their physical done and they’re self-pay, MDNow locations are offering $25 off their physical price of $80.
You know I saw that coupon online and it's good for the physical but if you need the titer test and vaccines the total they gave me was $395

So I had my PPD and my TDAP vaccine already done so I didn’t need to do it there. For the 5 titers— MMR, Varicella, Hep B plus the physical... came out to $285 for me. I got my flu shot for free at Publix earlier in the week.

I’m so scared
if u don’t want that is ok
pa: sorry for asking.
Hi Yveline! You’re at north campus, too? Is there a private messaging option on here? I’m not too familiar with this website lol and I don’t want to give our my phone number on a public board. But if you message me on here somehow, I’d be happy to share!
I am also fearful!! But let the fear fuel your dedication and your determination to succeed no matter what! If other people can do it, so can we! There’s nothing they have that we don’t! It’ll be all about being extremely organized, prioritizing well, and sacrificing sleep lol. But hey... we can sleep when we’re dead as I always say haha!

I’m going to Helix Urgent care in deerfield for my physical and 5 titers tomorrow. I already have Tdap, flu, and ppd and they quoted me $270. I have health insurance but they don’t cover the cost of this unfortunately.

I didn't know that central would have two clinical days until the reference numbers were sent over yesterday! A little scary! I think the other campus also has two days but on the email it said TBA.

Oh I didn't know publix had free flu shots! Good to know! I called another place and they quoted me 165. I'm going to stop by now and see that price is legit haha. thanks!

South has one day only main reason I chose south instead of central
The hours at south work way better for me besides clinical because I have kids

Right. Guess I’ll ask whenever I get the chance. Either way I’m glad that part is over. Just grateful for the opportunity.
