Hey everyone! I know it's a little early for the January (spring) 2018 process but I'm super anxious! I basically wanted to start this topic so that every one applying for the 2018 term could all help each other out! I am retaking a course at Keiser then my GPA will be higher and my overall HESI score is an 88%. Post any questions, comments, or concerns! Good luck to everyone! (:
Well, guys, I feel pretty anxious, but that's to be expected, I guess. I think that I'm mostly nervous about the apparent graduating stats - only 10% of those accepted will make it through the program. Has anyone else heard this? Sigh. I turned in my application last week, but I still don't see my application status on myBC. I asked the advisor if she had any advice, and she said to start reading NCLEX books to get used to critical thinking questions. Good luck to everyone :3
That's not true. It's about 40%, maybe even higher now since a class just graduated.
Sooooo my application status was updated from "application under review" to"pre program application" anyone know what this means ???
Mine also changed to that. Not sure what it means. The waiting game really sucks now because the deadline was pushed back because of Hurricane Irma. So we really wont be hearing any thing from them any time soon.
Thats what I noticed from the previous classes, but it just doesn't feel official for me until I get the email
It's not official until you get that. We turned our apps in with a deadline of May 15 and got our emails on June 14. Expect it to be about a month. The group before that was actually a tad over a month. PRE-ADMISSION is what you want to see. Pre-program application just means your app is in the system. Now, they will start sorting people out by number of points and then you'll eventually get an email.
How many points do you have? Depends on how many people they accept and how many people they need seats for that are retracking.
Don't make yourself crazy checking emails. Just relax and you'll get the email about a month after you turned in apps.
And when you get the email... RSVP!!! Some people didn't.

Indeed, you are right. I have 8 points, not much really. Its so hard to not check every minute honestly!!!!!! Ughhh!!!
"pre-program application" means your application is in review. From my experience, my status page went from "pre-program application" to "pre-admission" and I received an email right after that I had been accepted.
You don't choose your campus until you've gone through orientation/completed all of the requirements. Once all of that is turned in, each campus sends out an email with registration codes & every gets to register on the same day, so it just depends on how quickly the classes fill up.

Not bad at all. I have a 3.68 so I guess I'm waiting to see if it will change soon.
