Broward College nursing program Fall 2023

Nursing Students School Programs

HEY FUTURE NURSES

Hope all is well. Is anyone here going to apply to the Fall 2023 Nursing program at Broward college? Has anyone finished their perquisite? Has anyone taken the HESI yet? Ready to apply?

@ButterflyRN90 wow thank you for the heads up! I didn't hear about the dean, but that is crazy! Which campus do you recommend? I heard the central is the toughest, the south is in between and the north is the easiest campus. I heard at  BC many of the nursing students have to retake classes. ? have you heard about other good schools that are similar to BC? Now they have us taking pharmacology and math in the first semester. I don't know if that was the same for you. I just want to make a good decision. I know nursing school is not easy for any school but I do not want to deal with all these side stress factors dealing with the professors. That part is discouraging to hear

I went to Central because I was in the LPN to RN transition program at the time. My husband went to South but North was always considered the easiest. Yes, we also took those two together Pharm and math. Honestly, just push through it. Back then it was a different time.

I've been. 2015. Brutal. Lots of test banks being sold, previous professors were sketchy, the stress was unlike any I ever experienced. I lost weight. I cried. I had to retrack. I would never do it again.

Good luck though!

@ButterflyRN90 wow ? I heard the horror stories as well. What do you mean sketchy professors? Oh man! You had to retrack? What does that mean? Do you think it's a good choice of program ? I know heard it's a great program but was it worth the stress?

@ButterflyRN90 thanks you for the pointers. Yes, I hope to go to the north due to it being the closest to my house. I live in palm beach and palm beach state college was not an option. I know every program can be unorganized but this one one is top tier for me. Plus I know people who go to PBSC. I also know a school on fort Pierce called Indian River state college, that is also good! I was weighing my options with BC because I heard these stories. But your right stay focus and get into the groove of things

Has anyone applied to the broward college nursing program for Spring of 2024?

Hello, checking to see if anyone is applying for Summer 2024??

@jessbrookxx I did! The 30-day wait is going to be brutal LOL

@katvsbet I know they have the points on the BC website but im so curious to know what points actually got accepted ?

@jessbrookxx same! I'm assuming it also depends on how many applicants there are ?
