I just looked it up, the only location they have in fl is in weston, that 35 minutes away. I might give it a chance though. They do ask for experience in EKG and phlebotomy....I don't know how to do that! lol

And yeah, NOVA is an amazing school but hey, its private, so yeah 40k sounds about right.

I have a friend in that goes to West Virginia University, she's got like 50k in loans for her BSN, although the only reason why she doesn't mind is because she's in the national guard and they will be paying for it.

On top of car, insurance, phone, etc, I have about 65k in loans from my bachelors degree that I'm paying. I need to avoid loans as much as possible.

Go to Cleveland clinic hospital Florida website then look for a facility that's close to you it will give you an option on the facility. ...just keep looking I no it sucks but 8 dollars no way and you already get payed more at Publix wen I started looking for CNA jobs people took forever to call back but they will

xo Crash. I am so sorry you're going through that. I know loans suck, I have about 11k in loans already just from FAU. I didn't want more loans out either but Id rather take those out and pay them when I have my career. 65k is a lot though :/

Futurearnp I just applied for a position there. I need to get something before may of next year because thats when my license expires. if not, then I will just try to work at Duffys. my friend worked at Publix with me, quit to go work at Duffys and in some nights she makes what we used to make in one week....just in one night....craazzyy

Its weird, because if I did get loans out I shouldn't have to work, but it just feels weird and irresponsible not to!!! Am I crazy for thinking that way?

I work at the weston one we need CNA when I applied they said the same thing but they will still hire you trust me we are so short staff here its crazy , I work on Telemetry we have 3 positions available and that's just my floor..... it's 4 floors and there opening another building..... but a lot of people live in far places like coral gables or homestead or even kindle.....plus once you get one CNA job it's easy to get not her once you have experience hey you can't beat only working 3 days 4 days off even no its a long shift. .... plus I learn so much the nurses teach me to do iv n put in Foley n etc...

That's a lot I no there are scholarships for nurses that going for bachelor's Br has it on there web page u can't get financial aid

No gigglygaby lol I feel the same way I'm going to get a loan for the program but I still wanna work I think I'm going to keep working and saving so I can move out of my parents house when I'm finished with school lol

You might not want to have your picture as your profile. You've already given the facility and floor that you work. There are students here on AN who complete clinicals on that floor. I'm not on that floor, but if for any reason you decide to vent or speak about a coworker (AN allows venting) you may have a coworker who may stir the pot, so to speak, at your job. It's best to be safe than sorry.

Omg lol my coworker wrote that but yah I'll never say anything I'm not supposed to Cleveland is a great place to work and all the employees are great I think everyone should experience a hospital jobs there will be a great group of people there......
