Broward College Nursing May 2014

Published

Hey there! This is a tread for anyone trying to get into the May nursing program in Broward College. Have you guys completed everything we need?

I still have to take my HESI and I am half way done with the Health Core class. I am so nervous. I am still not completely sure on how BC does the admission criteria, but I have high hopes.

Leave anything below. Lets help each other out :)

Congrats to everyone that got in. If you don't mind sharing what was your gpa and hesi score and what did you do to prepare for the hesi. I'm looking to apply for august. Thanks and again congrats to all

my gpa is a 3.68 and I studied for the HESI using the evolve book. The vocabulary is very similar. Honestly, I didn't study that much because reading comprehension, vocabulary, and grammar are my strongest subjects. I studied for the math section mostly and I didn't study for more than 5 hours total. The Anatomy section has less questions (30 or so) so I would do the Reading Comprehension first, Math second, vocabulary third, grammar fourth, and anatomy last. This way, you won't tire yourself out and you might be able to leave early like I did. Overall, I got an 88% but I'm not complaining because I really didn't put my all into it. I am so busy with my daughter, two jobs, and 3 classes that I'm taking at BC right now. I knew it wasn't that difficult before I took it so my attitude was pretty good about the test. Just go in confidently and you will be fine.

Pre-admission means you got accepted and will change it to accepted status once you finished all the required physical/drug test and background check and sign a form on orientation day.

Omg I usually go in to work my HHA job at 5pm on Fridays and I dread watching the clock move fast and take away anytime for me to do anything. Now of course today being the day we find out the clock is moving slowly :(

Congrats guys!! I'm getting nervous now!!! If we don't get accepted does it say denied or just stays as is? Omg I'm literally palpitating!! I hope I'm one of the ones celebrating with you guys.

Congrats to everyone; and hopefully whatever is the current and future outcome we will continue to move in a positive direction towards our purpose. As long as our purpose is greater than any obstacle we will continue to move forward. With that being said where's that email
