Hey there! This is a tread for anyone trying to get into the May nursing program in Broward College. Have you guys completed everything we need?

I still have to take my HESI and I am half way done with the Health Core class. I am so nervous. I am still not completely sure on how BC does the admission criteria, but I have high hopes.

Thank you!! Well for the Hesi I used 2 books to study, the McGrawhill book with three tests in it and the Elsevier book which had a great summary of each section and explanations. I used both hand in hand and got all my vocab of the test from there. Literally every word I came across in those books were on the hesi. As for anatomy I did some review questions from quizlet and surprisingly I had a lot of the same questions on my hesi. I got a 91.6 overall and my gap was a 3.6, let me know if you have any questions!

hi & thank you! I used one book for the HESI I thought it was really helpful and on point for the most part.. It was the Evolve book. I'll add the link to the bottom. Also you can go to my profile & view my activity/comments my 8th or 9th post I ever made has a detailed description of how I felt about the HESI right after I took it and how well the book prepared me. The comment starts with "I just took the HESI this morning." I just didn't want to repost it cuz it's a lot lol. umm what else oh I got a 92% on the HESI & my GPA was a 3.7.

Hey I used the same books the others my HESI was 89% (Grammar was killing me since English is not my first language) & my GPA was 4.0

Thanks. I got the same hesi book from the book store. It really isn't hard! The vocab I studied on quizlet as well. Math is a joke. Basic addition subtraction division and multiplication and YOU CAN USE A CALCULATOR!! anatomy just have a general understanding. I would recommend taking the hesi as soon as you can after A&P2. And the reading and grammar were pretty basic too. You can pick what section you want to start off on. Go with your weakest first. You will be worn out after so pace yourself and don't waste too much time on any question. Overall my GPA is 3.4 & hesi 92
