Hey everyone!
This is a thread for anyone applying for the January 2012 class at Broward college for the generic nursing track. July 16th was the date to start applying and I believe it closes sometime in October. How many points does everyone have? I had to defer my seat so I will be starting in January for sure at north campus! if I can be of any help with questions pertaining to getting in or the HESI I will be glad to help! Call me!...I got my email and it says that orientation is October 20 @ 9:00am (South Campus)...and the email states that I should respond by October 14 or I will forfeit my seat....SO EXCITED MAN!!!!

Dear Registered Nursing Applicant:
Broward College's Health Science Admission Office reviewed your academic records and you have been selected for admission to the January 2012 Registered Nursing (RN) program that will begin on January 5, 2012.
Admission to the January 2012 RN Program is pending successful completion of the following:
1. A mandatory pre-admission session and signed acceptance contract
2. Necessary screenings noted below
3. Required HSC certifications
4. Maintain a cumulative Grade Point Average of 2.0 or greater prior to beginning the program on
January 5, 2011.
Your pre-admission session is scheduled for Thursday, October 20, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. The session will last approximately two and one half hours (2.5). It will be held on the South Campus, building 68 in the auditorium.
To confirm your attendance, please respond to this email (click reply) by Friday, October 14, 2011. Students who fail to respond to this email by the deadline date automatically forfeit your seat to the next eligible candidate.
At the session, you will be provided with specific information for enrolling in the Nursing Program. You will receive a Forensic Drug Testing Form that you are required to present to Quest Diagnostics on the day of your drug screening. More information about the required screenings will also be provided at the preadmission meeting. These tests must be completed by the deadline provided at the preadmission meeting.
