Hello, this is a thread for any current nursing students at Broward college or those who have recently been accepted. I'm a bit confused on Broward's admission criteria. What classes exactly do they use to calculate the gpa?

Anyone get their physical and shots done any place other than Doctors 360? If so for how much?
MDnow urgent care has discounts for broward college students. $35 physical and decent prices for immunizations.

Thank you so much!!!! Finding somewhere to get a physical and shots done has been a hassle for me. I'll check them out. Thanks again.

To all my central folks, has anybody purchased the orientation packet yet? If so, how much does it cost?

I'm purchasing it tomorrow morning before orientation. Bookstore opens at 7:45AM, FYI
Nevermind, I just came from Central. I bought it and turned in my paperwork. It costs $10.87, FYI.
I'll be purchasing the orientation packet this afternoon so I will let you both know the price.

Hey Jules92 When you turned in your paperwork did they check it to make sure everything was good?

I only know that Central sent an email for us to buy an orientation packet. I just bought it today.
By the way, is there a dress code for tomorrow's orientation?

Lol, nope. Don't worry that 32 page packet we have to print out is our orientation packet. It's free for us :)
I don't think there's a dress code. They would have emailed. Just in case I'm taking the polo nursing program shirt in my bag.
I'm curious what the central orientation packet has. I hope it's the process syllabus! I'm dying to see what the weeks are going to look like.
