Broward College nursing fall 2018

Hi! I know it's pretty early to start a thread for fall but I just wanted to see somewhat of what other people have in their classes and HESI. I have to retake the anatomy portion of the test but everything else I passed, and I have a GPA of 3.18. Also, I was in another nursing program before this and didn't do so well because of what was going on in my life during that time. Do you think this will be a big issue regarding getting in??

Haha, noooo! If you received the initial email around a month and a half ago stating that they received your application, don't worry. It should be updated by today! :)

How did someone get Pre-Program application? Is that the same as Pre-admission? I thought everyone's application status' get changed at the same time.

I don't think it means the same thing. When my points got updated it changed to pre-program application... it will change again (I believe) once the actual decisions are made.

Hi everyone,

This is my last post until after decisions go out.

Decisions will be out by close of business tomorrow. Please do not call or email asking what your status means. You will receive an email explaining your status once everyone's status is updated.

Pre-program application does not mean you have been accepted; it means your application is in review.

Being nasty with any of the staff does not help in getting your answer. I know everyone is anxious to know if they have been accepted.

Trust me, I felt like that until 1 a.m. too. I had no idea I would see it change at that time, considering I had checked at various hours like 5 p.m. all the way through 8 p.m. and then it just changed. I was just like "omg what if I put it in the wrong mailbox or it got lost in the stack of piles?!"

But it's okay, if I didn't see mine update by the end of the week, I would have called them on Friday or the following Monday. I remember Nichole saying a few pages back that if you still don't see anything after decisions have officially went out, then you should stop by, e-mail her, or call them. :)
