Broward College May 2018

Nursing Students School Programs

Hi guys!! Haven't seen any threads for May 2018 so I figured why not start one!! I just submitted my application for Broward's May 2018 LPN-RN program so anxiously waiting for the deadline. While I wait I'm attending Keiser to retake A&P 1 and lab to boost grade up! What's everyone doing to pass the time?

I see, a friend told me that yesterday, looks like ill have to wait for Fall term. I'll just take microbio/spanish 1 an 2 over the summer, he said they love to see microbio completed before. I'm not too worried about the HESI, I had all AP/DE classes my senior year and passed, its just AP2 that i'm worried about, I think its my Prof. first time teaching and it shows.

Omg why so many times if u don't mind me asking? Was it that tough?

Proc 2 math was insane. The problem sheet they gave you to practice on was completely different then the exam. Then the material they try to make you learn in 2 weeks is just to much sometimes. Mind you I work full time and I never lesser my hours in the program. Even after I dropped. But I highly suggest not working.

Definitely take micro BEFORE you start. you won't have any time if you don't

Wow. Well you overcame this obstacle!! Congratulations! I won't be working when I start the program. I will give it my undivided attention and focus solely on accomplishing another goal in life.

So then I should definitely not work in a hospital when I do my Associates or Bachelors? I wanted to work in Crit Care because for what I want to do for my Masters at FIU in Anesthesia, you need 1 year of Crit Care experience as a pre-req.

I don't think the BSN would be as tough as the ADN...... hey does anyone know who we contact for the nursing department to recalculate my points?

Just turned in my application!

Amm1989.....

Do you know who we email or speak to regarding updating the points on our application?

I would probably email Nichole

Ok. Thanks. I just emailed her. I'm waiting for my other transcripts to be evaluated as well.

You might want to call the advisory department or even registration. I know when I transferred all my stuff over to complete an A.A. degree, they took their time and I had to wait until the following semester to register for classes. Maybe call to see if they received everything and ask how long it will take. You still have until the 15th until the application deadline closes.
